Idleness wearied us out
Oh how we hate
the wind and the rain
That keep us cooped up in this town
I'm tearing away
the thoughts that decay
in my mind and jotting them down
On paper they don´t make me drown
But here comes the news
to all of the youth
there is no horizon to look forward to
So get up and leave
we wish you godspeed
and don´t look back we want you to succeed

Only the lonely are free
Raindrops are falling on me
I´m going outside
swallowed by the tide
that will draw us all out to sea

I believe the old myths
We´re flowing from the world's end into the abyss

and judging my time

It's a country of dwarves who think they are giants
they don't even know what they're running for
and ive got my hands tied behind my back
so i close my eyes i don't think i can stand
to watch bridges fall to watch my bridges collapse

my heart is on the far side
and all my blood will flow
into the tide
Sometimes sadness wells up within me
i try so hard to fight
i have to give up my memories
or the past will make me blind
'Cause the storm caught me up
and blew me here
in the middle of a swamp

except watching my bridge fall

The sea has drowned away your steps

Staring at you from the depths
Carved on the stones you threw away over your shoulder when you left
When you cut off your anchor
You drifted in the storm
The sea it raged and roared
Crashed you into the shore
And you picked up the pieces of your boat and then you made them burn
And dared the gods you´d turned your back upon to ask where you came from
No matter how far inland you go
You´ll always have sand between your toes
At the back of your voice is the cry of the seagull
The sea is not a choice it´s inside of your blood
